Restaurant Review in Hong Kong: Burgeroom – best burger?

Everyone loves burgers and everyone has the 'best' burger restaurant in their heart. Try Burgeroom and see if it hits your heart.

Burgers in HK

Burgeroom started as a small restaurant somewhere between Causeway Bay and Happy valley few years ago. I came with my parents at that time.

It then moved to Fashion Walk and gained popularity over the years.

We ordered a Portobello burger at that time assuming there would be a beef patty. Of course we got a vegetarian burger. Out of our expectation, the burger was extremely good with a SUPER juicy Portobello.

The Tsim Sha Tsui Branch

Because of the COVID epidemic (thanks CCP), dining in after 6pm was prohibited previously. With the down-trending confirmed cases number, today is the first day that dining in was available in restaurants during dinner time.

We booked seats through OpenRice. Great space with 70% occupancy.

You can definitely find something to fit your appetite on the menu. Burgeroom offers burgers with beef, pork, chicken and seafood.

Our order:

  • Portobello Cheese Burger
  • Cod Fish Burger with Egg and Cheese
  • Deep-fried Chicken Wings with Honey Mustard
  • Curly Fries with Cheese

Portobello Cheese Burger

Portobello Cheese Burger. Awwwww! So tall.

The perfect juicy Portobello with melted cheese. One of the most popular dish at Burgeroom. Thick beef patty but a little bit overcooked. I would prefer it to be medium rare and more tender.

Cod Burger with Cheese & Egg

The cod burger is so tall! Her mum must be proud.

The big loves fish fillet burger. She will always order it in McDonald. The batter is crispy while the cod is juicy. Too less thousand island sauce that I have to add honey mustard sauce from the chicken wings. The bread also wish to have an over-easy egg.

Beautiful cross-section.

Deep-fried Wings with Honey Mustard

The mouth-watering chicken wings. Crispy outside and succulent with red pepper powder giving a touch of spice. Balanced well with the honey mustard sauce.

Perfect chicken wings!

Cheesy Curly Fries

The cheesy curly fries are full of flavors but the cheese kinda soften the fries. I prefer more crispy ones.

The cheesy fries came after the wings. Cannot resist it so I ate two of them before taking a shot for them.

Anyways, this is a revisit-able burger restaurant.
