We stayed in Japan for nine days but mostly spent in Kyushu and Kyoto. Regarding the short period of our Osaka stay, we picked restaurants very carefully. Here are the top 3 must-eat!
1. Doutonbori anagoya
Unagi is a traditional Japanese food. Unagi means freshwater eels. Unagi is common in Japan but what I recommend here is Anago, the saltwater eel.
This restaurant should be put in your Osaka itinery because:
1. It locates in Shinsaibashi (unlike most other well-known Unagi restaurants that locate in less convenient areas) which is the famous shopping street of Osaka.
2. Anago is more precious and rare which is not commonly adopted in grilled eel bento in Japan.
3. Reasonable price.

Look at that grilled eel. So loooooooong!

Freshwater eel (Unagi) has a grassy taste thus they are usually cooked with rich-flavored sauce. Salt-water eel (Anago) is living in the sea, they do not have that grassy scent so they can be simply grilled on top of a piece of pink salt. Sashimi is also available for Anago.

2. Strawberry Mania
A very long queue was noted!!!!! No regrets! This is one of our favourite in our trip.
This is a must-try because:
1. SUPER TASTY! The strawberries are juicy and sweet.
2. Succulent! And they look cute on Instagram.
3. Locates exactly in Shinsaibashi. Convenient to the max.

Highly recommend the strawberry mochi. The pink one is red bean paste flavor and the white one is custard flavor.

3. Calbee Plus Shinsaibashi
Both of us rated Calbee 5 stars! Calbee is an international snacks production brand. Calbee Plus attracted many people in Shinsaibashi. The queue has never disappeared. All the chips and fries are deep-fried subsequent to your ordering to ensure the quality. CRISPYYYYYY!

We took the Tacoyaki chips and sald flavor french fries.
