1. Lady Bobo

Causeway Bay

Present you the Pineapple and Green Grape Green Tea with Cheese Foam! A very unique flavors that The Bread and I have never seen. With the big portion, the drink is extra-fulfilling. The fruit tea was made of green grape which is an extraordinary choice of ingredient. We love the beautiful aroma of the green grape and the touch of pineapple gives an extra freshness to the drink. We ordered ‘half-sugar’ but the taste drink remains amazing. The cheese foam is the highlight. We love the density of the cheese foam and the delicate balance between the sweet and savory flavor. It would be even greater if the portion of cheese foam could be larger.

2. Tea Express Bar by Jrink

Tsim Sha Tsui

Strawberry Bonbon is The Big’s favourite among these 5 recommendations. The cheese foam performs the best. The Big love the savory touch of the cream cheese while this is the densest cheese foam we have tried. The base is the strawberry green tea smoothie with the just-right sweet and sour taste. All the tea leaves are products of Japan or Taiwan therefore the drinks are a bit pricey but worth the penny. We heard that Matcha is a signature of the shop so we are planning our next visit already.

3. Fuji Tea

Nam Cheong, Tuen Mun

We ordered a “Red Dragon Fruit and Mango with Cheese foam”. The base was red dragon fruit dices topped with mango smoothie and cheese foam. We customized our drink to ‘half sugar’ and we love that optimal sweetness. The aroma of the mango is not bold but we like the fresh scent of mangoes. Usually, Taiwanese drinks would add ‘bubbles’ or ‘jelly’ as ingredient to add some chewiness. Instead, Fuji Tea adds fruit dices to make it more healthy but still appetizing. The cheese foam is creamy but the aroma of milk was relatively milder.

4. LC Tea

Tuen Mun

We planned to get their signature Avocado Latte with Cheese Foam. However we were too full after dinner so we decided to order something fresh to refresh our taste bud. We ordered Mango Jasmine Tea with Cheese Foam at last. The cheese foam was impressive with balance with the sweet and savory taste though the portion is comparatively lesser than the other shops. LC-Tea tries not to use jam but fresh fruit but the portion of mango is too less thus the taste was slightly plain. Surprisingly, LC-Tea adds in agar balls to give some variation of texture. We love them!

5. Europa Tea Foundry

Causeway Bay, Tsuen Wan

Tie-guan-yin Milk Foam Drinks with Tie-guan-yin Tea Jelly. Europa Tea Foundry is famous for their pure tea base. We love the gentle and flowery aroma of Tie-guan-yin. Adding tea jelly ‘prolongs’ the aroma of the drink. We asked about the ingredients of milk foam. The staff said that the milk foam was made off whole fat milk and cream cheese. Simple but beautiful. The cheese foam was creamy and milky. Compared to the aforementioned drinks, it was less savory. The only flaw was that the milk foam was too dense thus it did not slide when you drink through the hole of the lid. So, you have to mix the milk foam by yourself.
